How to Interpret Your Child’s Performance Analytics in the Ezyxam Dashboard

Performance analytics can provide useful information, but parents need to interpret the data correctly.

The most important principle is to look for trends rather than isolated scores.

If your child receives 72% on one assessment, that number tells you relatively little by itself. If their performance has increased from 58% to 72% across several comparable assessments, it becomes much more meaningful.

When reviewing Ezyxam analytics, examine:

Accuracy: Is the student answering more questions correctly?

Consistency: Are results stable across different assessments?

Skill areas: Are weaknesses concentrated in specific topics?

Timing: Is speed affecting performance?

Difficulty: Can the student handle increasingly challenging questions?

Also distinguish between knowledge errors and careless errors.

A student who repeatedly misunderstands fractions needs conceptual teaching. A student who understands the concept but makes occasional arithmetic mistakes may need greater checking discipline.

Use analytics to decide what to practise next.

Open the Ezyxam dashboard regularly, identify the most significant performance trend and use that information to guide your child’s next learning activity.
